Most people are aware of the food pyramid. But is it accurate? Does it supply your body with all the required nutrition for healthy eating and weight loss?
The simple answer is no, it doesn’t.
So why do governments endorse it? I don’t want to get into a political argument here, but suffice it to say that most governments are largely run by big corporations. Not obviously of course. Behind the scenes. It’s the big corporations who have both the time and the money to lobby governments and who can financially support elections.
Little guys just trying to do good, don’t have these luxuries.
So most of the information coming from governments is questionable at the very least. And the food pyramid is one of them.
The information given by the food pyramid may be better than the diet of many people, but in today’s world, sadly that doesn’t say much. It is not likely to help you improve either your health or your weight problem.
The nutrition that you will get from following the food pyramid is likely to leave your badly deficient. A nutritional deficiency will make you hungry all the time, making it difficult to lose weight. It will also lead you to greater ill health.
The fact is, few people really understand the reason behind why people carry excess weight. Some think it’s just plain greed. Others think it’s a genetic inheritance. In fact, it’s neither.
Excess weight is, for the most part, all about a nutritional deficiency. This makes you constantly hungry. Most people are never taught about healthy eating, so they don’t know what they should eat. So they opt for the unhealthy foods, which abound in our artificial and technocratic world.
This compounds the problem, establishing a vicious cycle.
Because there is not an immediate reaction, unhealthy food is not considered a cause of ill health. The reason is because your body will always try every trick in the book to keep you as healthy as possible. For example, it is well known that cancer patients had the trigger that started the process in the order of five years prior to diagnosis.
