Healthy eating for weight loss combines both weight loss with improved health. Sadly these two important issues don’t always go together.

Both the weight loss market and the health market is stuffed full of useless weight loss solutions, with alluring and expensive advertising. The attractive and skinny young woman tempts you, but you find the end product is just not helpful.

Not only that, but some of the products are downright dangerous for you.

Let’s look at some of the common ways to separate you from your hard earned cash.

Typical weight loss pills and aimed at helping you lose water. So when you weigh yourself, you feel things are improving. But the tape measure doesn’t confirm this. Neither does your health.

Losing water is great if you are carrying too much. But this can be a serious medical condition best dealt with by professionals who know what this is about.

Losing water for most people can lead to dehydration. This is a very serious matter.

Another idea is to count calories. This can be very harmful to your long term health. Healthy eating has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with calorie counting. To boot, calorie counting can leave you unsatisfied and hungry.

Another common idea is to tempt you with fast weight loss. Fast diet plans rarely work in the long term. You might be able to lose some weight for a specific occasion, but your determination has probably got more to do with the loss of weight than the diet.

Again, these diets tend not to satisfy you, so when the occasion is over, you gladly return to your old ways.

And yet another weight loss problem is aimed at keeping your hunger satisfied, but at the cost to your long term health.

The thing is, you need to change the way you think. Your current thinking has created the problem you have – whether it is excess weight, a health problem or both. The only REAL way to change this is to change the way you think. And the only way to change the way you think is to understand what healthy foods are and what unhealthy foods you need to avoid.

Then it becomes easy to lose weight and gain fabulous healthy. Without any complicated charts. Without starving yourself. Don’t be lured by useless weight loss solutions.

Healthy eating for weight loss is natural health where your optimal weight is inextricably linked to your vibrant health. Make sure you always consider these two important topics as one.
